From analysis to synthesis

Sintofarm R & D is a completely independent department housing the following sections:

  - Analysis laboratory
  - Synthesis laboratory
  - Chemical Pilot Plant
  - Granulation Pilot Plant
  - Plant Utilities
 
The operating target of this unit, is preparing new molecules in the synthesis lab. and piloting  new processes in the dedicated plant, with the analytical aid of the analysis lab. Moreover, the peculiar versatility of the plant, as well as the capacities and the technical specifications of the same, make it available and suitable also for small productions as custom service. Therefore, several kinds of reactions, like nitrations, chemical reductions, halogenations, friedel-crafts, oxidations, aminations, nitrosations, can be carried in a wide range of thermodinamic conditions ( -70 °C - +250 °C; 10 Bar - 2 mm HG).
